Alyson Bundy

Alyson Bundy is a Lafayette local with more than four decades of connection to the community and a passion for creating homes that feel comfortable, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. As a design enthusiast, she has a strong eye for both interior and exterior spaces. Her personal style leans toward calm, light-filled rooms with soft neutrals and soothing blues.

Alyson and her husband, Marc, built their home in Scott and experienced firsthand how challenging it could be to find quality window coverings with truly personalized service. Marc brought a unique background to the business as well. A North Carolina native, he spent more than a decade traveling with NASCAR as a pit crew mechanic for Richard Petty’s #43 car. Their combined experience in customer care, organization, precision, mechanics, and hands-on work eventually inspired them to launch Made in the Shade Lafayette in early 2022.

Today, Alyson enjoys helping homeowners find window treatments that make their spaces more beautiful and functional. She loves seeing a project come together and knowing that the finished result reflects how each customer wants to live in their home. Outside of work, Alyson enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing by the pool, cooking, saltwater fishing, and skiing during the winter.
