Don’t Let the Louisiana Humidity Destroy Your Blinds

Mildew & Warping

In Acadiana, it’s not the heat—it’s the humidity. Cheap wood or vinyl blinds will absorb moisture, leading to warping, mildew growth, and a musty smell. We install 100% waterproof composite products that are easy to clean and built for the bayou.

Skyrocketing LUS & CLECO Bills

Gaps in your window coverings let the scorching sun pour in, forcing your AC to work nonstop. Our insulating shades and shutters act as a thermal shield, lowering your utility bills and giving your air conditioner a break during the long summer months.

Flimsy Materials Don't Last

Plastic components become brittle in the sun, and cheap mounting hardware can fail. When you buy online, you’re on your own for repairs. We use professional-grade hardware and provide local, reliable service if you ever have an issue.

Modern Convenience for Acadiana Families

Motorized Window Shades

Automate your home against the Louisiana heat. Our motorized shades can be scheduled to lower during the peak sun hours, keeping your home cool even when you’re away. It’s a simple, modern convenience for busy families in Youngsville and Broussard.

I LOVED everything about this business and this experience. The fact that they come to my home and measure and bring samples for me to choose from made this so easy and I need easy! The install was quick and done perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of my blinds. My only regret is that I didn't do this years ago. It has really changed the look of my living room and I enjoy my space so much more now. So don't wait, get it done!

I love my shades! The entire process from Made in the Shade was on point and stress free. Alyson was knowledgeable, patient, kind and honest, a true professional in every sense of the word. She guided, but was never “pushy”, about selections and was willing to admit when we would be better off doing something on our own. Our order came on time, and the installation was done quickly and with precision. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to family and friends.
